Play is a game project by Randomes. We brought together four simple games so an evening with friends does not need a box of cards, a prepared host or another app.
What you can play
Charades for gestures, Explain the word for associations, Would you rather for discussion and Let’s get talking for conversations. Each language has 240 prepared cards. These are our own collections of everyday words, imaginary situations and light questions, rather than a copied deck from a commercial board game.
How it works
Cards are shuffled in your browser. Custom words are used on the current page, while favorite cards are stored locally on your device. There are no multiplayer rooms across phones: the project is for people playing together or reading cards aloud on a call.
Passing is always okay
Anyone can decline a question or skip acting out a word. Adjust the rules to suit your group, avoid putting people on the spot and value comfort above scores.
